SAW Wire is one automatic submerged arc welding, which is the main welding method in the manufacture of pressure vessel, pipe section, box girder and other important steel structures.
SAW Wire Application :
It is mainly used for welding various steel plate structures. Weldable steels include carbon structural steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel and composite steel. Submerged arc welding is widely used in shipbuilding, boilers, chemical vessels, bridges, lifting machinery, metallurgical machinery manufacturing, marine structures and nuclear power equipment. In addition, it is also ideal to weld wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy by submerged arc welding or to weld nickel base alloy and copper alloy.
"SMAW" is a manual arc welding method, which uses manual control electrode for welding.
SMAW Electrode Application:
The circuit is composed of welding power source, welding cable, welding tongs, welding rod, weldment and arc. When welding, the welding rod and workpiece are contacted to ignite the arc, and then the welding rod is lifted and kept at a certain distance. Under the suitable arc voltage and welding current provided by the welding power source, the arc burns stably to produce high temperature, and the welding rod and weldment are locally heated to the melting state.
"GTAW" is argon arc welding, which is to pass argon shielding gas around the arc welding to isolate the air outside the welding area and prevent the oxidation of the welding area.
"GTAW" Application :Argon arc welding is suitable for welding non-ferrous metals and alloy steels (mainly Al, Mg, Ti and their alloys and stainless steel); It is suitable for single side welding and double side forming, such as backing welding and pipe welding; TIG welding is also suitable for thin plate welding.
"GMAW" is carbon dioxide gas shielded welding, which is a welding method using carbon dioxide gas as shielding gas.
"GMAW" Application :
Because of the low price of shielding gas, the welding seam is formed well when short circuit transition is adopted. The quality welding joint without internal defects can be obtained by using the welding wire containing deoxidizer. Therefore, this welding method has become one of the most important welding methods of ferrous metal materials
FCAW is a flux cored wire for CO2 gas shielded arc welding.
"FCAW" Application :
This welding method is usually used for welding carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and cast iron.
